Tinku Roy orders for inquiry into the suicide of an inmate in Sports School

Agartala, Mar 19 (FD) Tripura sports minister Tinku Roy on Wednesday said that his department has written a letter to the Child Welfare Committee of the state to investigate the case of suicide of a boy in the Sports School of Tripura.

An inmate of the school has recently committed suicide but the reason is not known.

He said, “We have also asked the committee for counseling in all the 25 homes in the state to know about the child psychology and their problems”

Meanwhile, a psychologist said that there has been a trend among the youngsters about doing something unusual and one cause may be the ill effects of mobile   phones.

The minister also asked the child welfare committee to examine the whatsapp or other materials in their mobile phones. FD JK
