Three Rohingya girls arrested

Agartala, Sept 24 (FD) Three Rohingiya young girls who had fled the refugee camp in Chittagong were arrested by BSF from Madhupur in Sipahijala district, police said.
Police said they were arrested by the jawans of 150 battalion of BSF after crossing over to Indian land on Saturday.
They were handed over to the Madhupur police station and they have been booked under foreigners act.
Harihardola area in Kamala Sagar under Madhupur police station in Bishalgarh subdivision has come out as a corridor for safe passage of Bangladeshi infiltrators and Rohingiya refugees.
Police sources said that the three Rohingiya girls had entered Indian area through a broken part of barbed wire fencing in Kalamchaura police station area.
Police said that some Indian human traffickers were also involved in the racket to bring Rohingiya refugees and infiltrators to the Indian side.
