Three more degree colleges to come up in Tripura

Agartala, May 17 (FD) Three more Degree Colleges will come up soon in Ambassa Tripura’s Dhalai district, at Kakrabon and at Karbook in Gomati district  as a step strengthening state’s higher education, official sources said today.
These three new institutions will offer undergraduate programs in various disciplines for educational and socio-economic developments of the region.
Required teaching faculties and principals would be appointed for smooth running of the colleges.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha hailed the initiative and in a social media post he wrote,  “As part of our unwavering commitment to enhancing access to higher education, the State Government has approved the establishment of three new Government Degree Colleges in Ambassa (Dhalai District), and Kakraban and Karbook in Gomati District, starting from the 2025–26 academic session.
This decision will significantly benefit students in these regions by providing access to quality higher education and fostering academic excellence.” FD JK
