Three Bangladeshi Nationals Nabbed by GRP at Agartala Station

Agartala, Oct 25 (FD) Three Bangladeshi Hindus, who were forced to cross the border from Bangladesh and loitering in the Agartala railway station were nabbed by the Government Railway Police (GRP).
They were identified as Sagar Ghosh (19), Sonali Rani Ghosh (37), and Manisha Kumari Ghosh (19), and hailed from Narail district in the neighbouring country now under the rule of an interim government backed by the Jamat-e-Islami fundamentalists.
The GRP officials said they recovered Indian and Bangladeshi currencies from their possession.
Police said when they were moving suspiciously, police personnel nabbed them and on interrogation it was found that they hailed from the neighbouring country. They were waiting to catch a train to Kolkata.
“We would interrogate today and present them before a local court tomorrow and would like to know further about their coming to the Indian territory”, a police personnel said. FD JK
