The winter session of the assembly to begin from Jan.10

Agartala, Jan 1 (FD) The sixth session of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly will meet on 10th January this year, according to an official notification by the Governor of the state, Indrasena Nallu Reddy.

A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) is being held today to finalise the business days of the session, officials said today.

Assembly speaker Biswabandhu Sen said that several steps have been taken by the assembly authorities including allowing visitors with valid passes to enter the house and the usage of the mobile phones and safety and security of all.

The session, also known as the winter session was held last year on January 5 last and continued till January 11.

In the sixty-member assembly the funds under the Member of Legislative Assembly was raised from Rs. 30 crores to Rs.45 crores in the last winter session. FD JK
