TBJEE 2026 results declared; Arghyajyoti and Vaibhav secure top ranks

Agartala, May 23 (FD) The results of the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) 2026 were officially declared on Saturday by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. TBJEE Chairman Dr. Shubhadeep Pal announced the results during a press conference held at the conference hall of Shiksha Bhavan in Agartala.
Addressing the media, Dr. Pal informed that the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination was conducted on April 22, 2026, for admission into various professional degree courses in the state. A total of 4,731 candidates had registered for the examination this year. Among them, 1,864 candidates appeared in the Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics (PCM) group, while 3,873 candidates appeared in the Physics-Chemistry-Biology (PCB) group.
Candidates can check their results and merit positions on the official TBJEE website, TBJEE Official Portal. Students can also view their detailed subject-wise marks by logging into the portal using their name, roll number, and password.
In the PCM group, Arghyajyoti Saha of Sri Krishna Mission School secured the first position. Animesh Sarkar of Belonia Government English Medium School stood second, while Akash Chowdhury of Shishu Bihar School secured third place.
In the PCB group, Vaibhav Roy of Modern HS School emerged as the topper. Akash Chowdhury of Shishu Bihar HS School secured the second position, while Arnav Mitra of Shishu Bihar HS School ranked third.
Dr. Pal further stated that candidates whose names appear in the merit list must complete online registration to participate in the counselling process. The TBJEE counselling portal will be opened shortly, and eligible candidates will be called for counselling after registration. Seat allotment for different professional courses will be finalized through the counselling process. FD SB
