STGT qualified ST candidates demand recruitment in backlog posts

Atartala, Nov 07 (FD) Selection Test for Graduate Teacher (STGT) qualified ST candidates on Monday staged a protest in front of the Education Minister Ratanlal Nath’s residence at Krishnanagar demanding recruitment of all STGT qualified ST candidates in the backlog posts of STGT.

According to the candidates, there has been no recruitment in backlog posts of STGT since last 2016.

They alleged that the minister had earlier assured them of looking into the matter but as no initiative has been taken yet STGT eligible ST candidates gathered in front of the minister's house and protested in support of their demands.
STGT eligible ST candidates demanded simultaneous recruitment of all ST candidates who have qualified the exam in 2022. FD PD JK
