State BJP holds preparatory meeting ahead of J.P Nadda’s visit in Tripura

Agartala, Aug 26 (FD) Ahead of the two-day visit of the national president of BJP, J P Nadda , the Tripura unit of BJP has geared up party machinery to make his visit a grand success, party sources said.
During his visit beginning from August 28, a plan would be chalked out a strategy for the sixty member assembly elections due in March next year.
Party sources said, it’s all India General Secretary Dilip Saikia came to Tripura on Friday from Guwahati to supervise the preparedness of the party unit so that the schedule program becomes successful.
The party supporters would give Nadda a rousing welcome at the MBB airport and almost all the top leaders of the state including the just appointed party president, Rajib Bhattacharya would remain present there to receive him.
Nadda would hold series of meetings with party’s core committee, mass organizations and BJP’s electoral ally the IPFT in the state guest house and party office.
Later, he will also meet the party Janajati MLAs and MDCs and BJP Ministers and MLAs.
On the second day of his visit, Nadda would offer puja to the Mata Tripureswari temple at Udaipur in Gomati district.
He would also address a mass gathering at the headquarters of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) at Khumulwung, about 20 km from here.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, Union Minister for state for Social Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhoumik, former Chief Minister BIplab Kumar Deb and other leaders will attend the programme at Khumulwng. FD PD JK
