Slain BJP leader Balai Goswami given floral tributes in Agartala

Agartala, Feb 14 (FD) Body of the slain BJP leader, Balai Goswami was brought here from Chennai today and was given floral tributes in different places including in BJP party office.

Many leaders of the party like Ashok Sinha, Tinku Roy, Subal Biswas and many more were present, when floral tribute was given to his body.

Goswami, who was the Jela Sabhadhipati of West Tripura district, went to Chennai for routine check-ups but fell ill next day and died of cardiac arrests, family sources said.

His body was brought to the capital city and later sent to the Agartala burning ghat at Battala here.

He was always a smiling face and very dear to all party members, supporters and commoners. FD JK
