Seven Rohingyas including three women arrested in Ambassa, Tripura

Agartala, Nov 5 (FD) Ambassa police have arrested seven Rohingyas, including three women from a West Tripura district to North Tripura bound vehicle on Thursday night, police said.
The police said, during routing vehicle checking at Betbagan Naka point on National Highway-08 Ambassa police stopped one vehicle with seven passengers. During search the passengers revealed their identity as Bangladeshi, a police official said on Friday.
According to police, the seven Rohingyas including three women fled from Bangladesh camp and illegally entered Tripura through Sonamura border. They were produced in a court on Friday.
The seven detained Rohingyas were identified as- Md. Ikbal Hossain (60), Abdul Gafur (30), Azim Ullah (22), Md. Jahangir Alam (22), Jannat Ara (21), Sadiya Begam (19) and Dilbahar Begam (45) and all were came from Cox’s Bazar district in Bangladesh.
