Agartala, Apr 19 (FD) A remarkable academic milestone has been recorded in Tripura as one coaching institution reshaped the narrative of competitive examination success by delivering an unprecedented result dominated by female Scheduled Tribe candidates.
The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) declared the results of the Tripura Combined Competitive Examination for miscellaneous government posts on April 18, 2026. The outcome highlighted a historic achievement by the School of Science, a leading institute for competitive exam preparation in the North-East region.
Out of fourteen Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates selected for the posts of Revenue Inspector (RI) and Election Inspector (EI), twelve candidates emerged from the institute. Notably, ten of these were female candidates, all of whom secured positions after undergoing extensive training covering preliminary, mains, and personality test stages. This marks the first time in the institution’s history that such a high number of female ST candidates have achieved success simultaneously.
Among the top performers, Chayel Tripura secured the first rank and was appointed as Revenue Inspector, followed by K Suari Debbarma in second position. Moumita Mog secured third rank with an Election Inspector post. Other successful candidates include Merilin Debbarma, Sichakha Debbarma, Hamesha Debbarma, Anuprava Debbarma, Nancy Debbarma, Pirkha Debbarma, and Maharshita Reang, all securing key administrative posts.
In addition, Debarshi Das and Rajarshi Das secured top positions among Scheduled Caste candidates, while Amlan Mallik ranked second in the unreserved category. Pritam Ghosh was also selected as Election Inspector.
Principal Abhijit Bhattacharjee congratulated the candidates, crediting their discipline and determination along with the institute’s structured mentoring system. He also acknowledged the consistent efforts of faculty and staff in shaping aspirants for high-level competitive examinations.
Over the years, the institute has built a strong track record, producing 235 successful candidates in TCS/TPS Grade-II exams and over 2,500 achievers across various competitive examinations. In 2025 alone, 221 students secured government jobs.
This latest success in the Tripura Combined Competitive Examination further strengthens the institute’s reputation as a hub of academic excellence and inclusive empowerment in the region. FD SB
