Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held telephonic parleys with his counterparts in Kuwait, Egypt and Türkiye to discuss regional developments and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions amid Saudi-Houthi hostilities.

Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed that Saudi forces carried out 28 airstrikes on Yemen’s Taiz, Al-Jawf and Marib provinces in the past 24 hours, taking the alleged total to 760. The Houthis also claimed missile and drone attacks on targets in Riyadh and Aramco facilities in Yanbu.

Meanwhile, the US Mission in Saudi Arabia restricted official and personal travel by US government employees to Taif and Yanbu, citing the security situation following Houthi attacks.
