Sampoornta Seva Camp launched in Ganganagar Block to Bring Essential Services Closer to the Public

Agartala, Aug 30 (FD) As part of the Sampoornata Abhiyaan under NITI Aayog, the Government of India launched a comprehensive campaign on July 4, 2024, to enhance six Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Health, Agriculture, ICDS, and TRLM departments across all Aspirational Blocks. In alignment with this national drive, the Ganganagar Block of Dhalai District in Tripura inaugurated the Sampoornta Seva Camp on August 30, 2024, with the tagline “One Stop Service Delivery.”
The camp aims to provide the public with essential health services, including Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screenings, and other government services, all less than one roof. Held every Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, coinciding with the weekly market day in Ganganagar, the initiative is designed to overcome the challenges posed by the ongoing Jhum season, which makes door-to-door health screenings difficult.
To further encourage participation in NCD screenings among the 30+ age group, the camp features a Sampoornta Lucky Draw, where 40 winners will receive a Nutri Pack containing 25 kg of rice, 2 kg each of onions and potatoes, and 1 liter of edible oil. This initiative demonstrates the government’s commitment to making essential services accessible to even the most remote populations, eliminating the need for a 25 km journey to Ambassa. FD SB
