Saikat Talapatra presented before court, Pradyot showed proofs

Agartala, Apr 10 (FD) The District and Session Judge Court of West Tripura on Thursday heard the sensational defamation case filed against Saikat Talapatra, a you tuber by Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, a royal scion of the state.

In the proceedings, Talapatra was presented in the court when Pradyot Kishore Debbarma provided the reported proofs and testimonies against Talapatra.

Talapatra was arrested from West Bengal a few months back.

After the proceedings, Pradyot Kishore alleged that Saikat Talapatra made many statements against the tribal communities of the state. Even, Saikat had personally vilified him as ‘Chinese’.

He said the postings of Talapatra against him and against the tribal communities had led him to file defamation case against him.

Talapatra is now under judicial custody. FD JK
