Sadar police arrested two Bangladeshi thieves from Chandrapur area

Agartala, Sep 22 (FD) Sleep safe at home, no need to guard, theft gang members are being arrested one by one, Sadar SDPO Ajay Kumar Das said after the beat police arrested two Bangladeshi thieves from Chandrapur auto stand area here late on Wednesday night.
Police from the East police station led by Officer-in-charge Mamanulla Kaji nabbed two persons on suspicion, as they tried to runaway seeing the police beat.
During search police recovered tools use in theft incidents from their procession.
During interrogation, the two detainees revealed that they are Bangladeshi citizen and involved with such theft incidents.
The two Bangladeshi thieves are identified as Zayed Hasan Rakib of Feni district and Mahamad Suman Sheikh of Bagerhat district.
Informing the details of the successful beat in a press conference, the SDPO said, the newly team of police officials has intensified night patrolling under the guidance of Superintendent of Police (SP) Sankar Debnath.
He said, a Special Operation Group (SOG) formed to track down anti-social elements, drug-peddlers, thieves, etc.
