Road Mishap: 12 injured, six of them in critical condition

Agartala, Aug 17 (FD) At least 12 people were injured in a road mishap when a Max car and a tipper collided head-on at Rastar Matha railway-bridge area in Bishalgarh, about 15 km from here on Tuesday.

The incident took place when vehicle carrying passengers heading towards Sonamura from Agartala collided head-on with the tipper that was coming from the opposite direction.

At least 12 passengers reportedly sustained injuries on the incident, police said.

After receiving information, the local Fire Service personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Bishalgarh sub-divisional hospital.

The health condition of six was stated to be critical and they were referred to Tripura Medical College in Hapania here.

The rests are undergoing treatment at Bishalgarh sub-divisional hospital. FD PD JK
