Reshuffle: SDM, 34 TPS officers transferred in Tripura

Agartala, Sep 15 (FD) In a major reshuffle, the General Administration of the state government has transferred the incumbent Sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) Sadar, Ashim Saha along with few other transfers of police civil administration officials, an official notification said on Wednesday.

As per the notification issued by General Administration (GA) department said that incumbent SDM (Sadar) Ashim Saha has been transferred as deputy secretary at GA(Sadar) department at civil secretariat while present SDM of Ambassa, Arup Deb has been transferred as new SDM for Sadar subdivision.

Additional SDM of Ambassa, Ashu Ranjan Debbarma will now look after the charges of SDM (Ambassa) and CEO of Ambassa Municipal Council in addition.

While, in another transfer order the police department has transferred OC of West Agartala police station, Subrata Chakraborty as Reserve Officer (RO) for West district and OC of East PS Rajib Debnath has been transferred to Crime Section of SP(West) office.

Police Inspector Kajal Rudra Paul transferred from West PS to Amtali PS and Inspector Subimal Debnath from Jirania to West Agartala police station.

In another major transfer order, altogether 34 TPS grade-I and II officers including SPs, TSR battalion commandants and SDPOs were transferred on Wednesday also.
