Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee Participates in Central Health Council Meeting

Agartala, June 30 (FD) Tripura Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee participated in the 16th meeting of the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare on Monday, where policymakers deliberated on measures to strengthen India's healthcare system and enhance coordination between the Centre and states.
The meeting was chaired by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda and attended by Union Ministers of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel and Prataprao Jadhav, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Health Ministers from various states and Union Territories, Members of Parliament, and senior government officials.
Speaking after the meeting, Bhattacharjee said the council served as an important platform for discussing strategies to improve healthcare delivery and reinforce the country's public health infrastructure.
"The meeting facilitated meaningful discussions on strengthening healthcare services, enhancing Centre-State coordination, and addressing key issues related to the National Health Mission, food and drug regulatory reforms, and allied health services," he said.
He expressed confidence that the deliberations and policy decisions emerging from the meeting would contribute to improving the quality, accessibility and efficiency of healthcare services across the country while further strengthening India's public health system. FD JK
