Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge are likely to visit Tripura :Asish

Agartala, Mar 30 (FD) The leader of the opposition in Loksabha (LoP), Rahul Gandhi and the Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge would pay their visits to Tripura, but any date is yet to be finalised.
“I met both the leaders in Delhi recently in view of our organisational matter and invited both the leaders to visit the state to take a study on the situation here and they have accepted my request. Both the leaders are concerned about the incidences of attacks on our party by the BJP led goons”, he said.
He said the opposition Congress in the state has also initiated a process of listing its properties in the state following instructions from the central leadership.
“We have already furnished a list of properties readily available with us and would submit the total list within a month. Our initiative to count the properties has already started”, he said.
The TPCC President said that at least 100 party offices were either illegally occupied by the workers of BJP and many party offices were set ablaze by them after they came to power in 2018.
“Our two storied big Congress Bhavan was set ablaze and Bishalgarh Congress Bhavan also met the same fate. Over 100 party offices were damaged or illegally occupied by the BJP workers”, he said. FD JK
