Prize Distribution Ceremony of BN Mullick ceremony held at Umakanta Stadium

Agartala, Mar 7 (FD) A joyous event was held this evening at Umakanta Stadium to honor the winners of the 73rd BN Mallick Memorial All India Police Football Championship. The Director General of Tripura Police, Amitabh Ranjan, presented trophies to the champion, runner-up, and third-place teams in both the men's and women's categories. The event was also attended by DGP (Intelligence) Anurag Dhankar, ADG G.S. Rao, and other senior police officials.
During the prize distribution ceremony, the Director General of Police, Amitabh Ranjan, expressed his gratitude to all participants in the competition. He emphasized that such tournaments help strengthen the bond of brotherhood among the forces. He also extended his best wishes to all involved in successfully organizing this tournament in Tripura for the first time.
Notably, in the women's category, SSB won the championship, while Assam Rifles secured the runner-up position, and Odisha Police finished in third place. In the men's category, CISF emerged as the champion, BSF became the runner-up, and CRPF secured third place.
Following the prize distribution at Umakanta Stadium today, jawans from TSR and KTD Singh Police Training Academy performed a band display. Later, an exhibition football match was played between the All India Police Team and the CRPF Team. FD SB JK
