President appoints new Governors for Tripura and Odisha

Agartala, Oct 19 (FD) In a significant move, President Droupadi Murmu of India has announced the appointment of new Governors for the states of Tripura and Odisha. These appointments, as confirmed by a Rashtrapati Bhavan communiqué, mark a change in leadership for these states.
A senior BJP leader and national secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, has been designated as the new Governor of Tripura. He brings with him a wealth of political experience, having served as the president of the united state unit of the party and as a three-time elected MLA.
Currently a national vice president of the BJP and the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Raghubar Das, has been appointed as the Governor of Odisha. His tenure as Chief Minister from 2014 to 2019 demonstrates his significant leadership experience.
These new Governors will play pivotal roles in representing the central government in their respective states and work toward promoting the welfare and development of their regions. Their appointments mark a significant step in the leadership transitions in Tripura and Odisha. FD SB
