Preparations begin for Olympic 2028 to ensure best performance says Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya

Union Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya today chaired the 152nd Mission Olympic Cell Meeting in New Delhi. Talking to the media after the meeting, Dr Mandaviya said that India has started preparations for the Olympics 2028 and a strategy is being made to ensure the athletes give their best performance in Olympics 2028. He added that there were discussions on how to identify and nurture talent, give them exposure on national platforms and prepare them for the sporting event.

After the meeting, the Chief National Coach for the Indian Badminton Team, Pullela Gopichand said that our ecosystem is pretty challenging with diverse nation, diverse sports and varied players coming from different ecosystems.
