Prepaid Auto Service Restarts at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport

Agartala, Apr 26 (FD) After a hiatus of six months, the prepaid auto service at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport has been restarted. The decision to restart the service was made after a meeting between the Transport Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, and representatives from various departments, including security, transport, airport authority, and auto drivers.
During the meeting, it was decided that appropriate steps would be taken to ensure the continued operation of the service. The government and the department have promised their wholehearted support to auto drivers in resolving any issues that may arise.
The Transport Minister also appealed to the auto drivers to ensure that the service is not disrupted in any way. He emphasized the importance of their services in upholding the state's image at home and abroad.
The counter for the prepaid auto service was opened by the Transport Minister and other officials after the announcement was made. The decision to restart the service has been met with satisfaction by the auto drivers, who can now resume their work at the airport. FD SB JK
