Pornography: MLA Yadab Lal Nath case refers to ethic committee

Agartala, July 14 (FD) The Ethic committee of the Tripura Assembly will investigate the matter of seeing obscene pornography by a ruling BJP Legislator, Yadab Lal Nath during the last assembly session held in March, chief whip Kalyani Roy said today.
“The matter was referred to the ethics committee of the assembly by the speaker Biswabandhu Sen for investigation and necessary actions. A nine-member committee was formed to see the matter”, she told reporters.
BJP MLA, Kishore Barman raised the issue in the assembly session yesterday, when the speaker informed the assembly about the development, she added.
Nath, 55 was caught red handed while watching the pornography, which went viral in the social media during the last assembly session held in March and the opposition members created uproar in the assembly.
The opening day of the budget session on July 7 also witnessed tumultuous situation over the opposition demanding for strong actions against Nath, who was absent in the house throughout the session.
Five opposition MLAs including three from Tipra Motha and one each from Congress and CPI-M were suspended for the day as they stalled the proceedings. FD JK
