Polling schedule announced for Gomti District in Tripura Parliamentary elections

Agartala, Mar 19 (FD) Gomti district has seven constituencies. Out of these 30-Killa-Bagma (ST), 31-Radhakishorepur, 32-Matabari, and 33-Kakraban-Shalgarh (SC) assembly constituencies belong to 1-Tripura West Parliamentary constituency. In these areas, the Lok Sabha poll will be held on April 19th.
On the other hand, 41-Ampinagar (ST), 42-Amarpur, and 43-Karbook (ST) assembly constituencies belong to the 2-Tripura East Parliamentary constituency. Polling will be held in these assembly constituencies on April 26th. District Collector and District Election Officer Tarit Kanti Chakma told this news in a press conference in the conference hall of the Gomti District Collector's office.
In the press conference, the district election officer also said that the total number of voters in Gomti district is 3,44,912. Among them are 1,73,026 male voters, 1,71,878 female voters, and 8 transgender voters. There are a total 399 polling stations in the district.
Out of these 17 polling stations, 17 will be conducted by women. There will be 21 naka points in the district on the occasion of the election. District Police Superintendent Namit Pathak was also present in the conference room. PRESS RELEASE
