Police rescue kidnapped minor girl from rubber garden in Sonamura

Agartala, Nov 10 (FD) In a swift operation, police in Sonamura rescued a minor girl on Thursday night who had been kidnapped from the Boxanagar area in Kalamchoura on Tuesday.

The girl, who was reportedly kidnapped by Zainal Hossain, his wife, and another woman from Putia, was found in a rubber garden near Khedabari.

The family filed a complaint at Sonamura Police Station, accusing the kidnappers of planning to sell her to a trafficking racket.

Following a complaint lodged by the girl's family at Boxanagar Kalamchoura Police Station, suspicions arose against Zainal Hossain. Acting on a tip-off, the Sonamura police rushed to the location to ensure the safe rescue of the girl.

The police are actively investigating the case and pursuing the culprits, who are currently on the run. The rescued girl has been reunited with her family, and the community awaits justice in this unsettling incident. FD SB JK
