Agartala, Feb 15 (FD) A controversy is raging over a police raid at a home stay at Haradhan Sangha here on the Valentine’s Day.
Police raided the house following a phone call from a local that they suspected that a flash trade was going on and many men and women had gathered there.
However, the owner of the home stay Sanghamitra De completely denied the allegation on the plea that they do not rent any room to any minor.
She further pointed out that proper documents are collected from the customers before renting any house adding that there are 13 rooms of which only three are available for renting online. The rest ten rooms are occupied by the permanent tenants.
She pleaded that all government norms are maintained here before renting the rooms.
However, liberal people think that the incident is an intrusion towards privacy and business regulations. FD JK
