Police conduct two successful raids; detain three with narcotic brown sugar

Agartala, Jun 23 (FD) In a succession of effective operations, the East Agartala Police Station successfully detained three individuals along with a significant quantity of narcotic brown sugar. The raids were conducted based on specific information received from undisclosed sources.

The first arrest took place in the Dhaleshwar area, where drug peddler Sunil Debbarma was apprehended. The police seized approximately 60 vials of narcotic brown sugar from his possession.

Debbarma's interrogation led the police to conduct a subsequent raid in the Chandrapur Motor Stand area, resulting in the arrest of two more drug peddlers identified as Suman Miya and Ibrahim Miya. Two additional cases of brown sugar were recovered during this operation.

Following the interrogation of Sunil Debbarma, the police team conducted a second raid in the Chandrapur Motor Stand area, leading to the arrest of two more drug peddlers named Suman Miya and Ibrahim Miya.

The raid yielded the recovery of two cases containing brown sugar, with an estimated market value of lakhs of rupees. The seized brown sugar weighed around 40 grams.
