Police Commemoration Day 2022: Tripura CM pays tribute to Martyrs

Agartala Oct 21 (FD) Along with the other parts of the country, the Police Commemoration Day-2022 was observed in Tripura with due dignity.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha offered wreaths to the martyrs at AD Nagar Police Ground on Friday morning.
Remembering the martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of citizens and maintaining law and order in the state, Dr Saha said, “Police are safeguarding us for almost 24 hours per day, staying away from their families, the police work tirelessly with the sole aim of ensuring peace in the society. Police have played a key role in making Tripura a peaceful state”.
Interacting with reporters, the Chief Minister remembered Sub-inspector Satyajit Mallik who died while performing his duty in Khowai last year.
Drawing inspiration from the sacrifices of police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, the Chief Minister called upon the police personnel to rededicate them to the line of duty.
Dr Saha assured that his government is committed to the welfare of police families. FD PD
