Union minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh today said the Rozgar Mela convened at different places shows the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide 10 lakh Central government jobs in the NDA regime. Mr Singh was addressing the newly recruited personnel at Rozgar Mela in Urja Auditorium in Patna.
He said that in the Union Budget 2024-25 the government has opened avenues for four crore jobs in different sectors via skill development, MSME loans and Startups. Mr Singh appealed to all new recruits to contribute to making India a developed country and fulfilling the dreams of PM Modi.
The Rozgar Mela was organised at Patna and Muzaffarpur in which 821 candidates will get appointment letters.
Carrying forward the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by employing the maximum unemployed youth of the Nation, 71,000 newly selected candidates were handed over appointment letters during the 14th tranche of the Rozgar Mela, today.
The Prime Minister virtually gave appointment letters to the enthusiastic appointees.
In Punjab, the Rozgar Mela was organized at the Frontier Headquarters of the Border Security Force (BSF) at Jalandhar.
Inspector General of the BSF, Dr Atul Fulzale presided over the programme and handed over the appointment letters to 231 candidates for various posts in BSF, CRPF, SSB, EPFO, Postal Department and other civil departments. He congratulated them for their hard work and urged them to contribute to the nation’s development.
Similarly, at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali, Additional Director General of BSF, Satish Khandare handed over 249 appointment letters to the new appointees.
The Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr Virendra Kumar today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government is committed to ensuring socio-economic development of youth with more focus on creating job opportunities for the youth across the country.
In his address at the National Rozgar Mela organized at BSF Headquarters in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, the Minister urged new appointees to work with dedication and serve the people and nation.
Dr Kumar said youth can play an important role in achieving the goal of “Viksit Bharat- 2047”.
He further said India has achieved remarkable success in many fields and the country is marching towards becoming the third-largest economy in the world.
The Minister distributed appointment orders among 109 youth who have been appointed to various ministries and departments. Besides Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, higher officials of BSF, CRPF and CSIF also attended the function.
Yesterday, the Union Minister arrived for a two-day official visit in Srinagar. He visited the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) for Skill Development and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) under his Ministry, at Bemina Srinagar yesterday. He visited the Prosthetic & Orthotic workshop and other clinical departments of CRC.
The Minister also inaugurated the Cross Disability Early Intervention Centre (CDEIC) established on the premises of CRC aimed at providing rehabilitation and early intervention to specially-able Children (of age group 0 to 6). This Centre is well equipped in making proper pre-assessments/diagnosis, and rehabilitation programmes at the early stage.
The Union Minister also reviewed the progress of Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra (PMDK) and distributed aids and appliances like Motorized Wheelchair, Hearing Aids, LS belts and Walking Sticks among the beneficiaries.
Dr. Kumar also reviewed the facilities and services offered at CRC Bemina, which include rehabilitation, therapy, and training programs designed to enhance the quality of life for PwDs.
The Minister interacted with beneficiaries including Children with special needs, staff and students, emphasizing the government’s commitment to empowering persons with disabilities through accessible infrastructure, skill development and inclusive policies. He also visited the Senior Citizen Home in Srinagar and interacted with the beneficiaries.
