People of Kabiraj Tilla protests against shifting of the TNGCL office

Agartala, March 10 (FD) The people of the Kabiraj Tilla here today protested against the decision of the Tripura Natural Gas Corporation LTD (TNGCL) to shift their office from the sports school road of Kabiraj Tilla to Krishnanagar.

The demonstrators alleged that the South Zone O&M office and the customer care office were giving service to the people, but TNGCL suddenly decided to shift the office to Krishnanagar which according to them is unacceptable.

The demonstrators had also closed many staffs of the gas agency inside the office rooms for several hours.

However, the staffs said that they were bearing the orders of the authority and they have nothing to do in this regards.

They further said that office was not being shifted completely as the bill section, where the customers could deposit their payments would remain in the same place.

However, the demonstrators said that the complete office should be here or their movement would continue. FD JK
