Party machinery of BJP geared up ahead of Nadda’s visit to Tripura

Agartala, Aug 23 (FD) Ahead of the visit of the Bharatiya Janata Party president JP Nadda to Tripura, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, also the president of the state unit of the party held series of party meetings in various districts of the state to consolidate party base.
In almost all the meetings, General Secretary of the party, Fanindranath Sharma accompanied him.
He addressed at least three meetings in which, Sharma went along with him and the meetings were held with sincerity, party sources said.
The Chief Minister attended a core committee meeting focused on organizational matters and upcoming programs in Sadar Gramin district. General Secretary, Fanindranath Sharma, who is in charge of Assam and Tripura and party office bearers including district presidents and MLAs were present in the meeting.
Dr Saha in a social media post wrote, “Today I participated in the meeting of the core committee of the Sadar Gramin district of the Bharatiya Janata Party.Assam and Tripura Organization General Secretary Fanindranath Sharma and party office bearers including district ministers, MLAs were present in this meeting. Detailed discussions were held on the organizational matters and upcoming programs in the district.”
He also participated in the core committee meeting of the Party in South Tripura district, Unakoti and North Tripura districts and in all the meeting Sharma was present.
Party insiders said that the party machinery was fully geared up in view of the next assembly elections due in March next year.
Sources said, leaders of the party of different levels had started coming in the state and party has reportedly rented at least 25 flats for accommodation of the leaders including of IT cells. FD PD JK
