Over 770 voters from CPI (M) Congress and join BJP in Jolaibari

Agartala, Jun 22 (FD) As part of continuous shift of political loyalties from opposition Congress and CPI-M over 775 voters from 276 families joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Jolaibari South Tripura district.
The meeting, held at Jolaibari Community Hall under Belonia subdivision, saw a remarkable turnout of 776 voters from 276 families who pledged their allegiance to the BJP by accepting party flags from Rajeev Bhattacharjee, the party's state president.
The joining ceremony was graced by the presence of BJP state president Rajeev Bhattacharjee, along with tribal ministers Bikash Debbarma and Shukla Charan Noatia.
During the event, the leaders urged the new entrants to wholeheartedly work for the BJP, emphasizing the importance of continuing the state's all-round development process. Notably, a substantial number of tribal voters, both men and women, were among the new members.
During the event, the BJP's State president, Rajeev Bhattacharjee, and Tribal Ministers Bikash Debbarma and Shukla Charan Noatia urged the newly joined members to actively contribute to the party's growth and continue supporting the ongoing development initiatives in the state.
The enthusiastic participants expressed their commitment to working diligently for the BJP with the aim of securing victory in the upcoming 2024 elections for both Lok Sabha seats in Tripura.
