Over 200 employees today demonstrated before ARKIPL office

Agartala, Mar 20 (FD) More than 200 employees of the Advanced Route Knowledge Information PVT Ltd (ARKIPL) on Thursday demonstrated before their office demanding payment and salaries pending  for the past five months.

They appointed 500 employees, who work for the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Ltd as contract workers, supplied by the ARKIPL.

The demonstrators today gave an ultimatum that they would launch their movements in a stronger manner unless they are paid their salaries today.

“When we ask for payments, they say if government pays then we would pay you. We are not getting our salaries for last five months and the payments of our ESI account is also not paid for the last two years. How can we run our family without our salaries”, said a demonstrator. 

The employees further stated that earlier also they had demonstrated but nothing was done.

“It can’t go like this. If they pay us today we will break this movement and go back, but if they do not pay us then we will organize movement in a stronger manner”, the demonstrators said. FD JK
