Agartala, Nov 9 (FD) The leader of the opposition in Tripura, Animesh Debbarma, launched a scathing attack on the state's BJP government, accusing it of failing to deliver on promises related to job opportunities, governance, law enforcement, and overall progress.
Speaking at a press conference, Debbarma urged Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha to personally assess rural conditions and witness the ground reality.
Debbarma highlighted concerns about delayed payments and progress under the MGNREGS programme, impacting financially disadvantaged individuals and dampening the spirit of the recent Durga Puja festival.
He expressed worries about government corruption, asserting that financial benefits primarily favour a select few within the ruling party, leading to capital outflows from the state.
