No Fuel Shortage in Unakoti, Officials Dismiss Rumors Firmly

Agartala, Apr 16 (FD) The district administration of Unakoti has confirmed that the supply of essential fuels, including petrol, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), is currently stable and functioning without disruption. Authorities have assured residents that adequate stock levels are being maintained across the district through various oil marketing agencies, with no shortage reported in any area.
This clarification comes in response to recent rumors and misleading information that created unnecessary concern among the public regarding fuel availability. Officials emphasized that such misinformation has no basis and urged citizens not to panic or engage in unnecessary stockpiling.
According to the administration, petrol pumps and LPG distributors are continuing to provide fuel supplies regularly, and this system is expected to remain uninterrupted in the coming days. Strict instructions have been issued to all fuel station operators and LPG distributors to maintain consistent supply and avoid any irregular practices.
The administration also warned that any form of malpractice or disruption in fuel distribution will lead to strict action. Residents have been advised to remain calm, rely on official updates, and report any irregularities to the nearest authorities.
