Newly elected MLAs of BJP to take oath on Sept 12

Agartala, Sept 10 (FD) The Two newly elected MLAs of ruling BJP, who won from Dhanpur and Boxanagar constituencies in Sepahijala district will take oath of office and secrecy on September 12, officials said today.

Tofajjal Ahamed of Boxnagar and Bindu Debnath of Dhanpur are newly elected MLAs are to take  take oath as members of the state legislative assembly on September 12.

Speaker Biswabandhu Sen will administer the oath of office and secrecy in a simple ceremony to be organize in the lobby of the house.

The strength of the BJP will be increased to 33 in the state assembly with the entry of these two newly elected members. The strength of the ruling alliance will be increased to 34 with one member of the IPFT. On the other hand, the strength of CPM will be reduced to 10. The Congress has three members.FD JK
