New Law College: Govt aims to develop Tripura an Education Hub: CM

Agartala, Dec 30: Tripura chief minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday inaugurated a new Law College at Mohanpur in Jirania Sub-division, about 20 km from here and stated that the government is working with the aim to develop the state an ‘Education Hub’.
Chief Minister said, “The state government has taken several initiatives to develop the Educational infrastructure of the state to create a Hub for higher Education here.”
“Now the students of the state can avail degrees in various higher education sectors within the state as the government has initiated various moves to improve the Educational infrastructure of the state,” he added.
The Chief Minister pointed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to enrich the youths with knowledge, who can lead India to make it a developed country.
“We are also working in accordance with the Prime Minister’s vision and utilizing modern technologies to develop the educational infrastructure to standardize the educational institutes in remote places as well,” Dr Saha said.
He said, inauguration of new Law College in Mohanpur is an example of the state government’s vision for developing an ‘Educational Hub’ in Tripura. The Chief Minister expressed his confidence that the administration of the Law College will ensure the desired result.
Education and Law minister Ratan Lal Nath, ICA Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, West District Zilla Parisad Sabhadhipati Antara Sarkar Deb, Vice Chairman of Jirania Panchayat Samiti Pritam Debnath, Director of Higher Education Department NC Sharma and others were present in the inauguration ceremony.
