Netaji birthday celebrated with pomp, Governor and CM pay respects to the freedom fighter

Agartala, Jan 23 (FD) The 129th birth day of the India’s prominent freedom fighter, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was celebrated in the capital city with respects and much fanfare.
Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu had paid floral tribute to the statue of the Bose at the Maharajganj Bazar in the morning.
Many rallies and processions were taken out by different organizations in the morning.
The Netaji School here today organised colourful procession and tablews, which started from the school.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha joined the celebration. In a facebook post he wrote, “Truly honoured to join Netaji Jayanti celebration in Agartala along with my beloved students and others.
Also participated in a colorful rally organized by Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan to mark #ParakramDiwas on Netaji Jayanti.
We honor Netaji's indomitable spirit and visionary leadership that ignited India’s freedom struggle”.
Among others, Mayor of the Agartala Municipal Corporation, Deepak Majumder and Ex MLA Dilip Das were present in the celebration.
The opposition Congress also hoisted the tri-colour before the Congress Bhavan here and paid floral tribute to the freedom fighter.
Many other organizations including, Juktibadi Vikash Mancha also organised a procession to pay respect to the freedom fighter. FD JK
