NCERT Team Raids Bookstores in Agartala, Seizes Counterfeit Books

Agartala, Jan 30 (FD) A team from NCERT raided the stocks of two booksellers in Agartala on Thursday, seizing a large number of counterfeit books and filing a complaint with the police.

The team consisted of officials from NCERT's Delhi and Guwahati offices. Acting on complaints from several local residents, they conducted the raid and discovered that many counterfeit books were being sold under the NCERT name at low prices.

The seized books contained substandard content, and the officials warned that strict action would be taken against those responsible. FD JK
