“The six-member team had made a three-day visit and had made a detailed inquiry about how it suffered damages and which are the areas for repair”, the Managing Director of the Tripura State Electricity Corporation (TSECL), Biswajit Bose said.
He said that TSECL has asked them to send a detailed Project Report, which would be sent to the government for taking decisions. We need to revive the power plant with the increased power generation capability.
This plant is very important as it ensure the state’s Renewable Power Obligation (RPO), if the facility could be made for producing 15 MW power on a daily basis, Bose added.
