NASA’s Europa Clipper mission, which aims to search for life on Jupiter’s icy moon Europa, has been delayed due to Hurricane Milton.
NASA has not announced a new launch date, but the launch window remains open until November 6. The spacecraft is set to travel 2.6 billion kilometers and reach the Jupiter system by 2030.
Hurricane Milton, currently a Category 1 storm, is moving from the Gulf of Mexico towards Florida’s Space Coast, bringing high winds and heavy rain to the Cape Canaveral and Merritt Island areas.
