Nagaland CM welcomes referral of FCRA Amendment Bill, 2026 to Joint Parliamentary Committee

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has welcomed the Lok Sabha’s motion to refer the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026 to a Joint Parliamentary Committee.

In a social media post, Mr Rio appreciated the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Government’s responsiveness to the concerns raised and its decision to facilitate wider consultation in the larger public interest.
