Mysterious death of a 15-yr-old girl in Badharghat sports school

Agartala, Aug 16 (FD) Chaos prevailed in the Badharghat sports school when the body of a 15 year old girl inmate of the Badharghat sports complex hostel was found hanging in her room on Tuesday.

The deceased Supriya Debnath (15) was a resident of Champamura area under Amtali police station. She was living in the hostel for the past five years, Police said.

The incident came into light on Tuesday morning when she was found absent at the time of breakfast and accordingly her class mates went to look for her in her room and found her body was hanging from ceiling.

They informed her family members and police about the incident.

Later, police from Arundhatinagar police station rushed to the spot and pulled down Surpriya’s body for post-mortem.

In the meantime, her family members also reached there and alleged that Surpriya was killed before being hanged as she had no reason for suicide.

The police, however, registered a case in this connection and assured that the mysterious suicide would be thoroughly investigated. FD PD JK
