Mohun Bagan SG secures playoff spot with 3-0 win over Punjab FC in ISL

In the Indian Super League (ISL) Football, Mohun Bagan Super Giant defeated Punjab FC by 3-nil at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata last night. With this win, the Mariners became the first team of this season to qualify for the playoffs as they now have 46 points from 20 games on the back of 14 victories and four draws. A brilliant second-half brace from Jamie Maclaren and a composed finish from Liston Colaco sealed all three points for the league leaders. This was also their ninth consecutive win at home, registering their 12th clean sheet in the current campaign.

Today, FC Goa will host Odisha FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa. The match will begin at 07:30 PM. FC Goa, who lost their recent game against Jamshedpur FC, will look to get back to winning ways.
