MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury inaugurates district level walking aids program in Khowai

Agartala, Sep 22 (FD) A district level walking aids program was inaugurated at Khowai by local MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury as a part of ‘prati ghore sushashon program’.

The program was held at the new town hall and was presided over by the chairperson of Khowai Zilla parishad Joydeb Debbarma.

The MLA said that the government is working for the development of Divyangjans while the chairperson of Khowai Municipal Council Debashish Nath Sharma said that without divyangjans, a beautiful society won’t be formed.

Among the other dignitaries present in the program were District magistrate and collector Dilip Kumar Chakma, CDPO Dinesh Debbarma and social worker Diptendu Biswas.

The program was started with a welcome speech by District official of Social welfare and Social education dept Sujit Das.

The guests handed wheelchairs and certificates to 10 Divyangjans. FD DM JK
