Miss World Contestants Praise Telangana’s Culture at Ramappa Temple Visit

Miss World contestants were left mesmerised by the vibrant culture and women empowerment initiatives in Telangana during their visit to the historic Ramappa Temple in Warangal.

The 50 contestants were welcomed with the traditional Bathukamma festival, accompanied by folk dances and music. The intricate carvings and spiritual atmosphere of the Ramappa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is located in the Mulugu district, deeply impressed the visitors.

Many participated in temple rituals, performed Abhishekam to Lord Shiva, and received blessings from the temple priests. Contestants from countries including the USA, Canada, Panama, and Argentina shared their moving experiences with Akashvani News, praising Telangana’s cultural depth and warm hospitality.
