The Miss World 2025 grand finale will be held later this evening in Hyderabad. A total 108 contestants have taken part in a series of events including cultural, charity and various challenges for the past one month in Telangana.
From each of four Continent Groups, 10 contestants will be shortlisted to quarterfinals, where 40 top contestants will compete. Meanwhile, four more contestants secured their place in the Top 40, in the Multimedia Challenge. With this total number of fast-tracked finalists rose to 16. The remaining 24 contestants will be shortlisted by the jury today.
Akashvani’s Correspondent reports that all eyes are on Hyderabad as the much-anticipated Miss World 2025 contest will culminate in a grand finale late this evening. After a month-long journey through Telangana’s rich culture, heritage, and a series of competitions featuring 108 contestants from around the globe, Miss World 2025 finale will be held in a glittering event.
The grand finale promises glamour and purpose, combining dazzling performances, inspiring stories, and a fierce competition for the coveted Miss World crown. Scheduled performances by Bollywood stars, special appearance of Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar and Miss World Humanitarian Award presentation to popular actor Sonu Sood are some of the main attractions this evening.
Contestants from the four Continental Groups including Americas and Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and Asia and Oceania will be presented to the global audience. A total of 40 contestants, 10 from each group will advance to the quarterfinals. In various challenges like Top Model, Beauty with a Purpose, Multimedia, Sports, and Talent, 16 including India’s Nandini Gupta have already fast-tracked to the top 40.
The jury will select the remaining 24. Initially top 5 and then 2 from each continent will be narrowed down and only four contestants will face a final question before the new Miss World is crowned by the outgoing queen, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic.
