Agartala, Aug 11 (FD) Minister Ratan Lal Nath, responsible for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Power, joined forces with Minister Sudhangshu Das for a pivotal tour across North Tripura and Unakoti districts. The journey, initiated on Thursday, aimed at propelling agricultural development and reinforcing robust power services.
Minister Nath took the lead in discussions with officials from the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare department at key locations such as Kumarghat, Fatikroy, and Dharmanagar. The deliberations centered on the distribution of agricultural machinery and on-site inspections.
Additionally, interactions with representatives from the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited were held to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Nath reiterated the government’s commitment to agricultural advancement and farmer well-being, stressing their dedication to consistent power provision. Conversations with corporation officials addressed power challenges, ensuring service stability, even during monsoons.
At Nazrul Kalakshetra in Fatikroy and Dharmanagar, Minister Nath interacted with farmers, distributing essential equipment such as power tillers, rice cutting, planting, and threshing machines. These contributions elevated farmer morale and productivity.
Participating in paddy planting programs across districts, Nath witnessed farmers' dedication firsthand, extending his wishes for their prosperity and well-being.
