Meghalaya Hosts 7th ACT EAST BUSINESS SHOW to Boost Trade & Investment

The Government of Meghalaya, in collaboration with the Indian Chamber of Commerce, is organising the 7th ACT EAST BUSINESS SHOW from today to the 27th of March at the State Convention Centre, Shillong. This flagship event aims to foster stronger economic and trade relations between BBIN (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Nepal) and ASEAN nations, focusing on key sectors such as technology, agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism.

Around 12 countries, including the Philippines, Germany, Indonesia, Cambodia, the UAE, Japan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal, have confirmed their participation in the economic event. The event will feature three sessions:

Empowering Growth Through Technology & Innovation in Meghalaya, focusing on IT investments and emerging technologies like AI and blockchain, and an Investor Connect session linking investors with Meghalaya-based startups, in line with the state government’s policies to attract investment. The 7th ACT EAST BUSINESS SHOW will serve as a catalyst for trade, investment, and cross-border collaboration, positioning Meghalaya as a leading investment hub in India.
